Topher Downham
An avid outdoorsman before his accident, Topher Downham found solace and healing on the City of Boulder hiking trails after becoming a quadriplegic. For the past 30 years, his need for adventure has been satiated by racing 4-wheel downhill mountain bikes for Team Phoenix, handcycle touring abroad, and trying new things every year. At home he has been helping other people with disabilities reconnect with nature and the outdoors through wheelchair hiking and all-terrain handcycling. A firm believer that nature is needed by everyone, Topher has continually advocated for opportunities for all.
